Tricky but picturesque grass track on the banks of the Swan River in Perth located close to Burswood Casino. Belmont Park is utilised throughout the winter months, from April to October, so gets plenty of wear & tear. Belmont has an excellent drainage system which enables it to cope very well throughout its season.

The straight is less than 350m in length with most starting points give a decided advantage to horses drawn inside. With such short runs to the first turn in most races, there is plenty of pace on so backmarkers can still win.

However a good draw with an on pace horse is a definite plus at Belmont Park.
