Located about 440km due west of Sydney, Dubbo hosts a reasonably new renovated grass racing surface.

There is an almost hair pin bend out of the back straight which makes it very difficult for any horse trapped wide to remain balanced and win.

The 1600m, 1500m, and 1400m starting points are quite good, however the 1300m & 1250m give inside draws a distinct advantage.

From the 1000m & 900m only one turn to get around, however the speedsters do have an advantage here.
