A terrific grass circuit located in Brisbane's east, however on the western side of Nudgee Road. A big long straight generally gives every horse their chance to win race, unless the rail is out a long way when front runner may be favoured.

1000m is a good starting point, only one bend to get around, those drawn close to the fence with some early speed would normally be advantaged.

1200m is one of the worst starting points in Australia, for such a spacious track it is very disappointing. Only a 200m run to the first turn, so inside runners have a distinct advantage, those drawn wide either have to go forward and use up gas, sit wide and can't win, or go back and hope for luck in the straight.

The 1400m & 1600m starting points are excellent with most horses getting their chance.

The 1800m can be tricky, starting on a bend, so inside draws are an advantage.

The 2200m & 2400m starting points give most horses their chance.
