PORT AUGUSTA

Typical tight turning dirt track with a short straight located at the tip of the Spencer Gulf in SA, about 350km north of Adelaide. Inside barriers an advantage at most starting points, however it is far more important for the horse to be able to handle the dirt track. It is generally recognised that horses who handle dead-slow going will cope well with dirt tracks.
