Toowoomba Cushion Track - not a great deal of quality although
the smallish fields will make the punters task an easier one

assignment a tough one

big weight however has lengths on these
2 #3 Flying Affair - smart filly resuming, winner 3 of 9 in strong
company, claim helps
3 #2 Freetime - winner over this course & distance last time out however
may have drawn the wrong side of the track today
4 #6 Haboob - loves this track & distance & should run well again today

1 #1 Dark Charger - this looks his race, fair run off a wide barrier
last start, has won here & Scrivvo has come to ride
2 #2 Ghost Train - good maiden winner here before even run in tougher
race last start, can improve
3 #7 Jam Tin - placed last 3 here & has claims on the minimum weight
4 #3 Red Bear - beat a weak lot here on debut, might be an improver
Toowoomba R3 F&M Class 1 1200m ***
1 #8 Monde Bijou - fitter for 2 runs back & both have been good although
does find it hard to win, ready for the 1200m now
2 #9 Red Raptor - close to a win now as last couple of runs have been
good, well weighted
3 #2 Toey - fitter now & can improve on last start effort, chance on
best
4 #1 Seraphs Fantasy - awkward draw however last couple of runs have
been okay & has claims here
Toowoomba R5 3yo Maiden 1300m ****
1 #3 Castle Hill - looks the winner after 2 seconds from 2 runs, has to
handle the Cush & an aging hoop
2 #4 Heavenly Heights - look for sharp improvement today with a
significant jockey change for the better
3 #1 Wee Bit Snobby - fitter for first up run & should improve with
track experience
4 #6 Exone - place hope on last few runs although has failed here in the
past
Toowoomba R6 Class 4 1300m ***
1 #1 Modern Al - been racing against stronger animals lately than he
meets here & looks the one to beat, claim helps
2 #4 Punto Vista - racing consistently & could surprise a few here
3 #3 White Phosphorous - has ability & is fitter now so might improve
today
4 #2 Love Our Girls - chance if she found her form from a couple of
months ago although last couple have been in stronger grade
Toowoomba R7 Class 2 1500m ***
1 #1 Carved In Stone - been disappointing since arriving from NSW
however strikes a weak bunch here
2 #7 Give Me Room - allowed to lead & dictate here last start when an
easy winner, can repeat the dose
3 #3 Belle Verde - last couple have been in town & this race is easier,
awkward draw & has to handle the Cush
4 #5 Jacobus - last start winner over this course & distance although
form has not stood up out of the race, still a chance
Ballarat R7 Showcase 0-78 1400m ***
1 #10 Yorkshire Lad - will improve on first up effort in a strong race &
is up to a race like this, gun draw
2 #2 Finishing Card - will strip fitter for first up run & is above
average, draw the concern
3 #6 Baron - also should be fitter now & can improve, stable on fire &
has success with ex Williams horses
4 #11 Mikeys Magic - chance on her best however can put in a poor one,
well drawn
