20.9.11 Innocent Until Proven Guilty ..... is an adage more people in this life should live by. In the past 12 months we have had rumours abounding about high profile industry members such as Damien Oliver, Danny Nikolic with neither being found guilty of anything more than speaking their minds. Now it is Peter Moody's turn to be hung out & dried by the industry despite the fact Stewards are only enquiring into 1, yes 1 minor positive swab. The bloke has over 70 horses in work, most would be given some form of prohibited substance on a weekly basis to assist healing a wound or assist recovery rates or whatever. All stables do this. Give the bloke a fair go, and give every one a fair go. Give Ben Melham a fair hearing in his current matter with Victorian Racing Stewards, give Chris Whiteley a fair hearing in his current matter with Racing Queensland Stewards. This is Australia 2011, not Nazi Germany 1940. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty.

17.9.11 Ilovethiscity ..... is arguably the most over hyped & over rated galloper in Australia. The colt obviously has plenty of ability yet rarely shows it on the track these days. Graham Begg should consider gelding him in the hope that he can turn himself around & win some good races. Punters would be well advised to steer clear of him until he can show he can win recapture his early 3yo form.
